The iWellnessExam® with Fundus Photography and Macular Pigment Testing is a quick, non-invasive scan that allows our doctors to see both the surface and beneath the surface of your retina. Macular Pigment testing measures the thickness of the protective pigment in the central focusing part of the eye and identifies risk for development of eye disease in the future. This unique technology can help our doctors detect vision threatening and systemic diseases in their very early stages, when they are most treatable.

As part of your pre-exam testing, our technician will perform the iWellnessExam® with Digital Fundus Photography and Macular Pigment Testing, which Dr. Adamo will review with you during your examination.
